In 1955, Lux Radio Theatre broadcast a new adaptation of H.G. Wells’ novel The War Of The Worlds. Not to be confused with the more notorious 1938 version narrated by Orson Welles, this version was inspired by the 1953 feature film and brought larger than life characters to the beloved science-fiction tale. Nash Theatre is excited to bring the thrills, chills and rollicking pace of this classic to the stage for our annual radio play.
